In fact, this important trade continues at an accelerated rate today as raw materials flow at a frightening rate south into New England and other population centres in the USA. Recent efforts to rebrand “Atlantica” as a new corporately driven effort flies in the face of historical ties that remain strong today among the peoples of this astoundingly productive and beautiful area.
