LOOKING BACK: Cod recovery ‘quite spectacular’ in Newfoundland and Labrador – but more time needed for recovery.

If this is true then in gives hope to fisheries recoveries up and down the Atlantica coast. But, clearly it will require adjustments and sensible management in the face of impacts to the fishermen themselves. Are we ready? History says “no”. But times are changing as more folks realize the importance and actions needed to manage our ocean.
