It’s 1891 and Samuel Adams Drake explored the coast of Maine from Kittery to Eastport with a final stop at Grand Manan Island. Times were different back then and the following account contains lengthy descriptions of places, people and scenery, a far cry from on the spot photos taken on your cell phone and sent almost instantly to Google+, Twitter, or Facebook.
